Backup4all can be configured to send notifications to a Backup Monitor computer, in order to be easily monitored. This article explains how to configure the Remote monitor in Backup4all.

The Backup4all Monitor consists of the Monitoring Server and the Monitoring Dashboard. This article explains how to configure Backup4all Monitor to work with Backup4all.

Running the Backup4all Monitor setup allows you to install the Monitor Server and/or the Monitor Dashboard. If you need to install only the Monitor Dashboard on another computer, you must check only the "Dashboard" option.

Backup4all Monitor allows you to monitor as many Backup4all installations as your number of licenses. For example, you have 20 Backup4all installations to monitor, so you need 20 licenses for that.

Using the Backup4all Monitor, you can receive real-time notifications from any number of Backup4all installations.

You can remove the activation file from the current application by deactivating it. This will revert the program to a trial status, if you have enough evaluation days left, otherwise you'll be shown the activation window every time you try to use it.

Backup4all Monitor has a Real-time tab where you can see all backup/test/clean/restore actions in progress. The History tab of Backup4all Monitor will display all finished actions from the Monitor Server.
