After purchasing a license for Backup4all you have to activate it. Activation allows verifying that your copy of is genuine and that it hasn't been used on more computers than the number of licenses purchased. It prevents this way software counterfeiting (intentional or unintentional).

Backup4all needs to be activated after purchasing a license. If you have an active Internet connection the easiest way to activate Backup4all is automatically online. However, if you do not have an active Internet connection, this article describes how to manually activate Backup4all.

Before purchasing a license and activating it online you have the option of testing it for free. The trial version has the same features as the paid version and it will work for 30 days. To continue using it after the trial expires, you will have to purchase a license and activate it. Once the program is activated, you will be able to continue using Backup4all without having to reconfigure anything extra.
